Around 3 hours?
I really don't know what this is, but it came out after doing those figure studies. And I was kinda diggin' it, so I finished it.... sorta :P. Hope you all like it!

Male Figure Study

2 hours

Original image from pixelovely

Trying to study more full anatomy, while keeping a time limit on myself. I don't wanna get bogged down with it being perfect, but still accurate with the forms and lighting. I do these often so I'll try posting more of it, critiques are always welcome and very appreciated :)

Forest Spirit

1 Hour
These 1 hour paintings are fun, but I'll be spending more time on the next one I put up :P. Still gotta study that anatomy

Crawler of the dark

1 Hour painting
Sketch over/Critique by Chauncy, Brian, Sean and Matt

Got some really good feedback on why my original drawing wasn't making much sense, getting all the knowledge XD

1) Predators tend to have eyes in front of their heads, and closer together - to better see their targets
2) Prey tend to have eyes on the side of their head - to see predators around them and escape
3) Injecting anatomy into most creatures make them more relatable/understandable, and therefore stronger
